Job Summary

We are seeking to appoint a Hospital Sales Executive to be based in Lagos and Abeokuta. Our mission is to enhance family planning and HIV/AIDS prevention in Nigeria through innovative social marketing strategies, as well as the promotion and distribution of our products.

Oversee critical account management functions, ensuring strategic alignment with key clients to enhance satisfaction and retention. Develop and maintain robust client relationships by identifying growth opportunities and addressing needs proactively. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that align with client objectives and business goals. Monitor account performance metrics to assess progress, address challenges, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline communication and optimize service delivery across all touchpoints. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations while fostering long-term partnerships through consistent value delivery.

Accomplish assigned territory coverage in a timely and efficient manner while cultivating and sustaining a comprehensive list of healthcare providers and customers through strategic relationship-building efforts and ensuring optimal product distribution.

Regularly visit hospitals, clinics, maternity homes, PPMVs, pharmacies, supermarkets, convenience stores, and individual providers to confirm the availability of our products.

To consistently meet or exceed the monthly sales targets and ensure timely cash collections.

Duties include executing the organization’s medical detailing initiatives within the designated territory while providing comprehensive education to healthcare providers regarding family planning solutions and an array of contraceptive options.

Each day, execute a predetermined number of calls, ensuring full coverage of all designated distribution channels while meeting the sales targets and merchandising requirements in strict accordance with the organization’s established guidelines and standards.

Compose and dispatch detailed field sales reports, including relevant photographs, to provide comprehensive insights and updates.

Serve as the intermediary between the organization and healthcare providers while driving sales and distribution initiatives, including medical detailing, and enhance provider capabilities by assessing and addressing their training requirements.

Developing and enhancing the organization’s reputation and presence across relevant sectors and geographic regions.

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of three years of experience in a related field, preferably with a degree in a relevant discipline. The ideal applicant will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is required, along with excellent communication and organizational abilities. Experience in project management or leadership roles is highly desirable, as are certifications or training pertinent to the position. The ability to adapt to evolving industry trends and a commitment to continuous professional development are essential.

A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, or Biological Sciences is required for this role.

With a minimum of four years of medical detailing experience within a multinational pharmaceutical corporation, candidates for this role should demonstrate a proven track record in this specialized field.

Frequent travel within the designated territory will be required as part of this role.

Must demonstrate unwavering integrity and a strong sense of accountability in all professional undertakings.

Exceptional proficiency in delivering presentations, conducting detailed analysis, and effectively conveying information through both oral and written communication channels is required.
