The Regulatory Manager ensures comprehensive regulatory compliance for Slam Agra’s wheat milling and pasta products throughout manufacturing, sourcing, import/export, labeling, and commercialization. This position serves as the primary regulatory liaison between internal teams—including Operations, Quality Assurance, Research & Development, and Sales—and external regulatory bodies, while mitigating risks proactively and facilitating business expansion.
Key Deliverables
Ensures adherence to all applicable regulatory standards and governance frameworks, establishing robust policies and procedures to mitigate risk and maintain organizational integrity. Develops and implements comprehensive compliance programs, conducts regular audits, and provides ongoing training to employees to foster a culture of accountability and ethical conduct. Collaborates with legal, operational, and executive teams to interpret complex regulations, address compliance gaps, and align business practices with evolving legal requirements. Monitors emerging regulatory trends, assesses their potential impact, and proactively recommends adjustments to policies and processes to ensure sustained compliance and operational resilience.

The Product Registration & Approvals role involves overseeing and managing the registration processes for products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and obtaining necessary approvals for market entry. Responsibilities include preparing and submitting registration documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, tracking submission timelines, and addressing any queries or requirements from regulatory bodies. Oversee the approval process for ingredients, ensure compliance of feed additives, and monitor permissible usage levels.
Verify adherence to applicable certifications, including ISO 22000:2018 and ISO 14001:2015, to maintain regulatory and quality standards.
Deliver comprehensive regulatory training programs tailored to meet the needs of internal stakeholders.
Engage in relevant professional organizations and attend conferences as required, such as those organized by the Manufacturing Association of Nigeria (MAN) or the Association for Business Teachers and Educators (AF BTE).
Ensuring continuous awareness of evolving regulatory mandates and developments at both national and international levels.

Interpret and disseminate regulatory mandates to pertinent internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with regulatory bodies to address and settle any arising challenges or discrepancies through effective negotiation and resolution strategies.
Contribute to internal audits and quality inspections to evaluate compliance and operational effectiveness.
Develop and execute corrective actions alongside preventive measures to ensure sustained improvements and mitigate potential risks.
Requirements
