Food Services
"From seed to shelf, serving global markets with integrity."
Founded in 1989 with a single product and a single market—trading cashews from Nigeria to India—Slam International has since evolved into a premier global agribusiness. Today, we operate end-to-end from seed to shelf across 65 countries, delivering food and industrial raw materials to over 13,800 customers worldwide. With a team of 23,000 professionals, we have established leadership positions in key sectors such as cocoa, coffee, cashew, rice, and cotton, offering a diverse portfolio of 44 products across 16 business platforms.
At Slam, responsible growth is central to our mission. We believe that long-term value for all stakeholders is achieved only through sustainable business practices. Through the Slam Sustainability Standard, we are transforming our seed-to-shelf supply chains, systematically evaluating and enhancing every stage of our value chain to ensure sustainable delivery across all our global operations by 2020.
Our commitment to sustainability extends to rural communities, where we drive meaningful impact. In 2010, we launched The Slam Livelihood Charter (OLD), setting a rigorous benchmark for projects that integrate all eight principles: finance, improved yield, labor practices, market access, quality, traceability, social investment, and environmental impact. Today, we oversee 30 OLD initiatives and an additional 160 related projects, ranging from rural electrification and water infrastructure to the construction of health centers and schools.
