Role Description
This full-time position is an on-site role based in Leak, designated for a Warehouse Assistant at Mercedes-Benz Nigeria.
The Warehouse Assistant will provide operational support by executing key tasks such as receiving, packing, and dispatching inventory, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring accurate inventory control processes.
Your responsibilities also encompass the precise and effective functioning of warehouse machinery, including forklifts, ensuring a secure and orderly workspace, as well as delivering outstanding customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Proven expertise in packing operations, inventory control, and inventory management is required.
Demonstrated expertise in operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery with a strong commitment to safety protocols and operational best practices is required.
Possesses exceptional customer service skills with the capacity to engage with clients in a polished and professional manner at all times.
Exceptionally detail-oriented and adept at managing time efficiently, with a strong emphasis on organization to ensure optimal productivity and adherence to deadlines.
Proven capacity to thrive in team-based settings, fostering cooperation and synergy with colleagues to achieve shared objectives. Demonstrated skill in cultivating a collaborative atmosphere where diverse perspectives contribute to collective success and problem-solving.
Proficient in utilizing computer systems for inventory management and record-keeping applications is required for this role.
Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and arranging products as necessary.
Seeking candidates with a high school diploma or its equivalent; prior warehouse experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
