MAIN FUNCTIONS
Serves as the company’s on-site representative at the rig, facilitating the safe and effective implementation of well plans. Functions as the main liaison for rig and external personnel, ensuring the proper arrangement and oversight of logistics concerning personnel, equipment, and services.
The position entails executing a diverse range of duties and obligations, including performing essential job functions that contribute to the organization’s operational success. Key responsibilities involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones, ensuring adherence to established protocols and quality standards. Additionally, the role requires maintaining accurate records, analyzing data to generate actionable insights, and supporting strategic initiatives aligned with company objectives. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in relevant software applications, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and adhere to regulatory compliance while prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines consistently.
Responsible for clearly conveying safety, security, health, and environmental expectations while offering direction and assistance in the management of Age-related incidents.
Ensures clear and consistent dissemination of Operations Integrity Management Systems (AIMS) standards and requirements at the rig site.
The role involves overseeing rig operations to deliver constructive feedback and recommendations to the rig contractor, ensuring strict adherence to well control protocols and effective handling of emergency situations.
Ensures the execution of safety, operational, environmental, security, and other essential drills at designated intervals to maintain compliance and preparedness on-site.
Ensures strict adherence to approved drilling and completion procedures, implementing management of change protocols whenever modifications are necessary.
Efficiently arranges and manages the logistical requirements for services and equipment essential to drilling and completion operations.
Provides onsite surveillance services to meet operational requirements, including monitoring kick detection, abnormal pressure detection, torque and drag, mud properties, and solids control efficiency.
Ensures the creation of precise and comprehensive operational reports to support informed decision-making and maintain organizational efficiency.
Collaborates with engineering and geology teams to align on well objectives and procedural requirements, ensuring clarity and mutual comprehension.
