Job Summary

Prepare, evaluate, and finalize contracts while offering expert recommendations based on thorough analysis and professional judgment.

Assess data to verify adherence to established criteria.

Provide legal counsel and assistance regarding potential organizational concerns to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Ensure full adherence to all applicable statutory obligations and regulatory requirements.

Oversee and address employee concerns related to company policies and operations.

Skilled in composing formal correspondence with precision and professionalism.

Ensures accurate and comprehensive documentation of files alongside the management of company secretarial responsibilities.

Interprets legal mandates and government reporting obligations as they pertain to human resources operations and guarantees that all policies, procedures, and reporting mechanisms adhere to regulatory standards.

Analyzes legislative developments, arbitration rulings, and collective bargaining agreements to identify and evaluate emerging industry trends.

Perform additional duties as assigned and contribute to other relevant projects or initiatives as needed.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Law is required. Possession of a Master’s degree or a professional HR certification, such as CPM or SHRM, is advantageous.

A minimum of two years of professional experience in human resources, with a strong emphasis on legal compliance, is required.

Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of Nigerian labor legislation and regulatory frameworks.

Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in organizational management, clear and concise communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Possesses a proven track record of managing sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.

Meticulous attention to detail is essential in examining legal documents and ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations.

Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite applications and specialized HR management software platforms.
