Job Summary
A Legal Assistant is sought to support the Head of Department at our IKEA Branch by handling all assigned legal responsibilities with precision and efficiency.
The position entails a wide range of duties, including managing daily operations, overseeing project execution, and ensuring adherence to established protocols. You will be responsible for leading a team, coordinating cross-departmental efforts, and maintaining high standards of performance. Additionally, this role requires thorough reporting on progress, strategic planning, and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving challenges will be essential in fulfilling these responsibilities effectively.
Handle legal correspondence and compile necessary information for the company secretariat, preparing Executive Management Reports upon request.
Provide support in the prompt preparation and completion of legal documentation, including land agreements, deeds of assignment, and contracts of engagement.
Assist in the preparation of terms and conditions for the company’s estate contracts, agreements, and related documentation, subject to approval by the directors.
Legal responsibilities, as determined by the legal head, include carrying out assignments and tasks as directed.
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, finance, or accounting, and have at least five years of experience in a related role. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills are mandatory, while familiarity with ERP systems is preferred. Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills are essential for success in this position. Additionally, the ideal candidate should demonstrate problem-solving acumen and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
A minimum of two to four years of post-call to the bar experience is required.
Professional experience collaborating with real estate firms would be highly beneficial.
