The organization is actively recruiting a seasoned Senior Credit Analyst to join its specialized analytical division. This unit is dedicated to evaluating the creditworthiness of both banking and non-banking financial institutions spanning the entire African continent.

Ensures precise and reliable ratings by meticulously reviewing data, cross-referencing information, and applying standardized evaluation criteria to maintain consistency and integrity in assessment outcomes. This role demands a keen eye for detail, analytical reasoning, and adherence to established protocols to uphold the highest standards of accuracy in all evaluations.
Conduct comprehensive fundamental credit assessments for a range of Nigerian financial institutions, insurance companies, and corporate entities. Subsequently, articulate your findings during committee presentations.
Acquire a comprehensive grasp of pertinent methodologies and demonstrate proficiency in their practical application.
Track advancements and verify the precision and forward-looking nature of ratings.
Demonstrates proficiency in engaging with financial markets and issuers through clear, concise, and strategic communication to foster transparency and alignment.
Develop and sustain strong, high-quality connections with fixed-income investors, media representatives, and senior executives within financial institutions.
Operate autonomously while collaborating closely with the analytical team to strengthen the Company’s Banking, Corporate, and Insurance franchise, primarily by cultivating and expanding relationships with critical external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience; proficiency in specific programming languages and tools; minimum of X years of experience in a related role; strong problem-solving abilities; excellent communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; familiarity with industry best practices and emerging technologies; commitment to continuous learning and professional development; experience with project management methodologies is a plus.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust academic foundation, holding at minimum a Bachelor of Science degree in a pertinent field.
A professional qualification in ACA or ARCA would be advantageous.
Proficient in both spoken and written English communication is essential.

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, demonstrated through clear, concise verbal and written expression, along with prior public speaking exposure.
Developing and applying robust quantitative reasoning capabilities alongside demonstrated proficiency in analytical techniques.
