UNICEF Nigeria is seeking to recruit a Senior International Consultant to conduct an in-depth, evidence-based Gender Equality Programmatic Review (GPR). This review will evaluate the current state, identify existing gaps and opportunities, and propose strategic pathways to enhance gender integration across UNICEF Nigeria’s programming and operational activities. The findings will play a pivotal role in shaping the development of the forthcoming Country Program (2028–2032).
Key outputs will encompass a Desk Review Report, a Draft Mission Agenda, a Preliminary Findings Presentation, a Debrief Slide Deck, a draft Gender Policy and Results (GPR) Report summarizing Gender Equality Priorities, a final GPR Report, and a draft Gender Action Plan. These deliverables will serve as foundational inputs for the Strategic Moment of Reflection scheduled for early September.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Candidates must possess at least three years of professional experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are necessary.
