We are seeking a highly motivated professional to oversee a range of critical tasks, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to organizational standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key projects, coordinating team efforts, and driving performance to meet strategic objectives. Additionally, they will be tasked with maintaining compliance with industry regulations, fostering collaboration across departments, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Compile weekly payment batches, update bank registers, and generate precise mid-month, month-end, and year-end financial reports for the Country Office.

Post weekly transactions in NetSuite (NICOL), documenting journal entries, accounts payable, and manual payment entries while maintaining the accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Conduct monthly reconciliations of the General Ledger within NICOL to ensure the precision and reliability of financial reporting.

Process operational payment requests, travel authorization requests, and expense reports in strict adherence to established organizational policies and prescribed timelines.

Assist Country Office personnel in maximizing the efficiency of the Contracts Lifecycle Management (CLM) system and NetSuite ERP (NICOL).

Assist the Finance & Administration Manager with conducting annual statutory and internal audits, which entails preparing draft financial statements, audit schedules, and supporting documentation.

Coordinate monthly payroll processing with the designated local service provider to guarantee precise salary disbursement for all staff, ensuring strict adherence to national labor laws, tax regulations, and social security obligations while maintaining timely payment schedules.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Banking and Finance is required.

Professionally recognized certifications, including ICAN or ARCA, are strongly preferred.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of five years of accounting experience, including at least three years in an international NGO setting.

Professionals should demonstrate comprehensive expertise in widely recognized accounting principles, financial systems, budgetary oversight, cash flow management, and internal accounting controls, particularly within an international operational framework.

Proven expertise in accounting software and financial systems, with a preference for candidates experienced in NetSuite.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, with a strong emphasis on Excel skills.
