The Senior Audit Associate will execute designated internal audit initiatives in alignment with the internal audit strategy, as endorsed by the audit committee.

The role entails executing a range of responsibilities and fulfilling key duties, including overseeing daily operations, managing team performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Additionally, the position requires collaborating with cross-functional departments, analyzing data to drive strategic decisions, and maintaining high standards of efficiency and professionalism. The individual will be accountable for supervising workflows, delegating tasks effectively, and fostering a productive work environment. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to meet deadlines and achieve operational objectives.

Review and verify adherence to established internal control procedures through meticulous examination of records, reports, operational practices, and supporting documentation.

The role involves tracking and documenting instances of deviation from established company policies and procedures, ensuring timely reporting of such occurrences for further review and action.

Propose enhancements to existing processes and policies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Ensure thorough review of expenses, payments, and purchase orders to validate the propriety of all transactions.

Perform designated audit procedures, including inspection, observation, confirmation, recalculation, and reperformance, as assigned.

Conduct unannounced visits to depots and stations to perform spot checks, inventory audits, and cash reconciliations.

Compile comprehensive working paper documentation that substantiates the audit procedures executed, and the conclusions derived for the assigned audit review.

Execute additional responsibilities as assigned, ensuring flexibility and adaptability to evolving organizational needs.
