The Regulatory Manager oversees the adherence to all regulatory requirements for Slam Agra’s wheat milling and pasta products throughout manufacturing, sourcing, import/export, labeling, and commercialization processes. Serving as the primary regulatory liaison between internal teams—including Operations, Quality Assurance, Research & Development, and Sales—and external regulatory bodies, this position proactively identifies and mitigates compliance risks while fostering sustainable business expansion.
Key Deliverables
Ensures adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards by overseeing policies, procedures, and internal controls. Monitors changes in laws and regulations to assess their impact on the organization, implementing necessary adjustments to maintain compliance. Collaborates with legal, risk management, and operational teams to identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and enforce governance frameworks. Guarantee adherence to all applicable animal feed regulations, including Nigeria’s NAFDAC and SON standards, as well as international frameworks such as EC, FDA, Codex, GMP+, and FAMINES.
Interpret both current and forthcoming regulations impacting wheat milling processes, as well as the sourcing, handling, and formulation of pasta ingredients, additives, and premixes.
Develop, implement, and sustain regulatory compliance frameworks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal policies to ensure adherence to applicable laws and standards.
The incumbent will manage the product registration and approval processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal protocols. This role involves submitting documentation to pertinent authorities, tracking approval timelines, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to facilitate timely clearance. Education

Professional experience in manufacturing plant operations and navigating multicountry regulatory environments is required.
