Job Summary

An Interior Designer is responsible for developing, designing, and implementing cutting-edge furniture and interior design solutions that fully meet client expectations while upholding the elevated standards of our premium brand.

This position demands a distinctive fusion of artistic creativity, technical design expertise, and strong project management abilities to facilitate the smooth progression of projects from initial concept through to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Duties:

This position entails providing strategic leadership to drive operational excellence while fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams. Duties include overseeing project execution from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The individual will be tasked with identifying process inefficiencies, implementing corrective measures, and optimizing workflows to enhance productivity. Additionally, they will lead performance evaluations, mentor junior staff, and champion continuous improvement initiatives. Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach are essential to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

We specialize in crafting innovative, visually striking furniture and interior design solutions tailored to client specifications, delivering polished sketches, compelling mood boards, and lifelike 3D renderings to effectively communicate design visions.

Client Engagement: Deliver design proposals and progress updates to clients, management, and project teams, fostering open communication and alignment throughout the process. Work collaboratively with clients to iterate on designs, ensuring their vision and feedback are seamlessly integrated into the final deliverables.

As a Technical & Production Liaison, you will facilitate seamless communication of design specifications to production teams and external contractors. Collaborating closely with production and operations teams, you will assess the feasibility, functionality, and structural integrity of designs to ensure successful implementation.

Monitor projects diligently to guarantee compliance with established timelines, budgets, and deliverables while guiding design concepts from initial prototyping through to final production, ensuring seamless execution throughout each phase.

Quality & Standards: Regular on-site inspections will be performed to verify adherence to design integrity and finishing benchmarks, ensuring full compliance with stringent company, safety, sustainability, and ergonomic protocols.

Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with architects, artisans, subcontractors, and all relevant project stakeholders to ensure smooth and coordinated project delivery.

Conduct ongoing analysis of emerging global and local industry trends, materials, and cutting-edge design solutions to ensure contemporary aesthetics are integrated into every project.

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or business administration, is required; a master’s degree or higher in a specialized discipline is strongly preferred. Additionally, a minimum of three years of professional experience in a similar role, with demonstrated expertise in project management, data analysis, or related functions, is essential. Prior involvement in cross-functional teams, compliance with industry regulations, and a proven track record of delivering measurable outcomes are also necessary.

A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture from an accredited institution is required, while advanced degrees or professional certifications are highly preferred.

Possesses a minimum of three to five years of hands-on expertise in the fields of Project or Interior Design, as evidenced by a proven professional track record.

Commercial Interiors’ expertise is strongly preferred, particularly in Workplace/Corporate environments, Retail settings, and Hospitality/Restaurant spaces.

Required Skills & Competencies: Proficiency in written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal abilities, and a collaborative mindset are essential. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Familiarity with industry-specific software, tools, or methodologies is often required, along with a proven track record of problem-solving and decision-making in fast-paced environments. The ability to adapt to changing circumstances, work independently with minimal supervision, and contribute effectively within a team setting is critical. Additionally, prior experience in a similar role or industry, as well as relevant certifications or educational qualifications, may be necessary. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is highly valued.

Possesses advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Ketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and contemporary 3D rendering applications.

Proficient in the full spectrum of design disciplines, encompassing strategic space planning, color theory application, material selection, integrated furniture systems, FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) integration, and precise technical specification development.

Possesses practical expertise in project costing, contract management, local building codes, and the intricacies of local permitting processes.

Execution and Quality: Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and precision while managing numerous high-pressure projects concurrently, ensuring consistently superior quality and outstanding customer service.

Possesses exceptional verbal and graphic communication abilities, with a proven capacity to collaborate seamlessly across diverse disciplines and cultivate strong, productive partnerships with clients and colleagues.
