Pharmacists are tasked with dispensing medications and nutritional supplements, providing patient education on proper medication usage, and supporting both disease management and preventive care initiatives. Experienced Locum Pharmacist required to provide temporary, high-quality pharmaceutical services in various healthcare settings. The role involves accurately dispensing medications, verifying prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols. Responsibilities include managing patient consultations, maintaining precise records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy. Candidates must possess a valid pharmacist registration, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Prior locum experience is advantageous but not mandatory, and flexibility to work across different shifts is essential.
Dispenses prescription medications accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Ensures compliance with all regulatory standards, including state and federal laws governing pharmacy operations. Collaborates with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and medication management. We seek a candidate with a minimum of five years of experience in a related field, possessing strong project management skills and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. The ideal applicant should hold a relevant bachelor’s or advanced degree and demonstrate a track record of delivering results under tight deadlines. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality assurance processes is strongly preferred, as is the capacity to adapt to evolving industry trends and challenges.
Earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Harm.D) degree.
A minimum of one year of full-time professional experience following the completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYC) program is required.
A valid PCN (Professional Chauffeur’s License) and a completed NYC (National Youth Service Corps) Discharge Certificate are required.
Must be located in or willing to relocate to Enugu.
Retail pharmacy experience is particularly beneficial to this role.

Compensation for locum positions ranges from $400 to $800 per hour.
Weekend shifts are required on an alternating basis.
From 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturdays.
Saturdays require your availability from 2:00 PM through 9:00 PM.
