Description
We are actively seeking female general practitioners with specialized training in gynecology who are open to working flexible shift schedules, including either alternating day and night shifts or a one-week-on, one-week-off rotation.
Oversee and execute a range of duties to ensure efficient operations, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflows, monitor progress, and address any challenges that may arise. Prepare and present detailed reports to leadership, outlining key metrics, performance insights, and recommended improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives, foster innovation, and drive continuous improvement across the organization. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices while upholding high standards of quality and accountability.
Clinical care responsibilities include delivering thorough outpatient consultations, overseeing antenatal and fertility clinic operations, and administering specialized medical services for obstetric and gynecological patients.
Independently conduct or support obstetric and gynecological surgical interventions, such as Caesarean sections (C-sections), fibroid removal, ovarian cyst excision, appendectomies, and other related gynecological operations.
Spearhead daily ward rounds and oversee comprehensive pre- and post-operative patient management to uphold the delivery of exceptional, patient-focused care services.
Offer around-the-clock on-site medical assistance throughout assigned shifts, promptly and accurately managing obstetric emergencies.
Maintain precise medical documentation, engage in clinical audits, and partner with nursing and laboratory teams to enhance patient care outcomes.
Diagnosing and managing patients’ medical conditions by reviewing their medical histories, performing diagnostic evaluations, providing treatment, offering counseling, and making appropriate referrals when needed.
Responsibilities include ordering laboratory tests and analyzing the resulting data to derive meaningful clinical insights.
Upholding strict confidentiality and ensuring impartiality in all professional interactions and decisions remain essential responsibilities of this role.
Gathering, documenting, and safeguarding confidential patient data—including examination findings, medical histories, and diagnostic reports—is a critical responsibility of this role.
Professionals in this role are responsible for delivering newborns, conducting necessary surgical procedures, and leading routine ward rounds to monitor and assess patient care.
Demonstrating and clarifying medical protocols or recommended therapies to patients with clarity and professionalism.
Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with medical practitioners in both community settings and hospital environments.
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver health education initiatives effectively is a key responsibility of this role.
Achieving the hospital’s established patient satisfaction benchmarks is a key responsibility.
Engaging in thorough reviews and assessments of innovative pharmaceutical products alongside pharmaceutical representatives is required.
Staying informed about the latest advancements in medical research, emerging treatments, and pharmaceutical developments.
Evaluating and providing feedback on the performance of trainee doctors, nurses, and medical students to ensure competency and adherence to clinical standards.
Seeking candidates who possess a minimum of three years of relevant experience in the field, along with a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, such as business administration or finance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and strong analytical skills are essential. The ideal applicant will demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities, effective communication, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in project management or a supervisory role is highly advantageous.
Holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree earned at a recognized accredited institution.
Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and possession of a valid practicing license are mandatory requirements for this position.
