Pharmacists are responsible for dispensing medications and nutritional supplements, providing patient counseling on proper medication use, assisting with disease management and preventive care initiatives, overseeing support staff, and actively promoting the pharmacy’s products and services throughout the community.

We are currently seeking a qualified Locum Pharmacist to join our team on a temporary basis. This role requires a valid registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPC) and prior experience in a community or hospital pharmacy setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient consultations, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Additionally, familiarity with pharmacy software and inventory management systems is desirable.
Delivers comprehensive medication management services as a full-time pharmacist, ensuring accurate dispensing and patient counseling. Provides expert clinical consultation to healthcare teams, optimizing therapeutic outcomes and promoting safe medication use. Maintains compliance with all regulatory standards and pharmacy protocols, including accurate record-keeping and inventory management. Collaborates with physicians and nurses to review patient profiles, resolve drug interactions, and adjust therapy as needed. Educates patients on proper medication administration, potential side effects, and adherence strategies. Supervises pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain operational efficiency and adherence to best practices. Participates in continuing education to stay current with advancements in pharmacology and healthcare regulations.

Must reside within Enugu or be prepared to relocate to the area if necessary.
Experience in a retail pharmacy environment is beneficial.

Compensation for locum positions ranges from $400 to $800 per hour, depending on experience and assignment specifics.
Weekend shifts must be worked on an alternating basis.
From Saturday through 10 AM to 9 PM, you will be expected to fulfill your duties with reliability and professionalism.
Sunday shifts are scheduled from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Compensation for housing is open to discussion and can be arranged based on mutual agreement.
