This position is a full-time, on-site Factory Supervisor and Saline Expert role located in Lagos. It entails managing daily factory operations for paper packaging production, which includes directing production lines, overseeing workflow efficiency, and enforcing compliance with safety and hygiene protocols.
The Factory Supervisor/Saline Expert will oversee saline and die-cut layout operations, refine machine configurations for peak performance, and collaborate closely with design and production teams to deliver precise and efficient packaging solutions.
Responsibilities encompass organizing and coordinating production schedules, overseeing material consumption, reducing excess waste, and verifying that products adhere to established quality and specification standards.
The position involves providing guidance and mentorship to production staff, managing production records and reports, and working closely with maintenance and operations teams to address challenges and enhance overall efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in software development is necessary. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a must. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is preferred. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are critical. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams are also required.

Ensuring that finished paper packaging adheres to technical specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements requires a strong command of Quality Control practices.
With a strong background in Operations Management and Manufacturing Operations, you will drive the optimization of factory processes, minimize downtime, and enhance overall productivity.
Seasoned in saline design, die-cut layouts, and converting processes for paper-based packaging, with hands-on familiarity of the applicable machinery.
Seeking candidates with a track record of effective leadership in a manufacturing or packaging setting, ideally within paper packaging or a closely related field.
Proven ability to analyze challenges, make sound decisions, and maintain efficient organizational structures, coupled with the capacity to guide and inspire cross-functional production teams.
Proficient in health, safety, and environmental regulations governing factory operations, along with a strong dedication to sustainable methodologies.
