Job Summary:
The System Administrator / IT Executive oversees the seamless operation, security, and dependability of the organization’s IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include administering computer systems, networks, servers, software applications, and user accounts, delivering technical assistance to staff, upholding cybersecurity protocols, executing system backups and routine maintenance, resolving hardware and software malfunctions, managing IT assets and licenses, and facilitating the deployment of technology-driven projects.
This position is responsible for upholding IT policies and adhering to industry best practices, with a focus on reducing system downtime and protecting organizational data.
Oversee and manage daily operations to ensure seamless workflow and optimal productivity. Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate team and individual performance, identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align goals and streamline processes. Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior leadership, offering data-driven insights and actionable recommendations. Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
Oversee the administration, maintenance, and operation of company servers, networks, and workstations to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems encountered by staff members to ensure seamless operational continuity.
Implement and maintain up-to-date cybersecurity protocols to safeguard organizational systems and data.
Oversee the administration of IT assets, ensure compliance with software licensing agreements, and cultivate strategic vendor partnerships.
Provide technical assistance and solutions to address IT requirements for active projects.
Qualifications and Experience:
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics, and a minimum of three years of professional experience in software development, data analysis, or a related discipline. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++ is required, along with experience using frameworks such as Django, Spring, or .NET. Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team are essential. Additionally, familiarity with database management systems, cloud computing platforms, and DevOps practices is highly desirable.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline is required.
