Inventory & Warehouse Auditing: Conduct thorough physical stock counts and compare them against digital records to identify discrepancies. Apply First-Expiry First-Out (FEFO) batch tracking principles to ensure optimal inventory rotation, thereby reducing the risk of expired products and unnecessary waste.
Sales & Revenue Assurance: Conduct audits of daily sales reports, cash collections, and bank deposits to ensure accuracy. Validate that all cash remitted aligns precisely with corresponding vendor invoices.
Credit and Receivables Management: You will evaluate customer credit terms and oversee collections to ensure adherence to distributor-established targets.
Ensure compliance with the parent company’s established performance criteria to maintain eligibility for monthly incentives and volume rebates. Verify that all pricing structures and promotional discounts adhere strictly to manufacturer guidelines and policies.
Risk and Fraud Detection: Proactively assess order processing, cash handling, and loading bay operations to pinpoint vulnerabilities that may facilitate theft or unauthorized credit transactions.
Audit Reporting: You will develop and deliver periodic audit reports that identify financial discrepancies, control deficiencies, and actionable recommendations for the business owner or general manager.
