About the Role
We are in search of a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to assist the pharmacist with the day-to-day functions of the pharmacy.
Oversee and execute the full spectrum of daily operations to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to organizational standards. Manage a diverse array of tasks, including coordinating teams, monitoring progress, and resolving operational challenges in a timely manner. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align objectives and foster a cohesive work environment. Maintain rigorous compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while upholding the highest levels of professionalism and accountability.
Assist the pharmacist by meticulously preparing and dispensing prescriptions with precision.
Responsibilities include accepting, organizing, and storing medications and supplies while systematically rotating stock and conducting periodic inventory counts to uphold accurate stock levels and ensure timely expiry tracking.
Maintain precise daily sales records and assist in tracking operational expenses, ensuring all entries receive requisite approvals.
Handle all incoming customer inquiries and telephone calls promptly and professionally, ensuring accurate and timely responses to address their needs effectively.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and compliant pharmacy environment by meticulously organizing shelves and work areas in accordance with operational standards.
Proven ability to communicate effectively and collaborate seamlessly with team members, clients, and stakeholders is essential. Strong interpersonal skills are required to foster productive relationships, resolve conflicts, and ensure clarity in all interactions.
