Job Summary
We are actively seeking qualified Christian Medical Doctors specializing in gynecology to join our team, with availability to accommodate shift-based schedules. The positions require doctors to participate in either a day-and-night rotation or a one-week-on, one-week-off schedule, with two doctors sharing the shifts.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational standards. Manage project timelines, allocate resources efficiently, and monitor progress to guarantee timely and high-quality deliverables. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster innovation, address challenges, and maintain seamless communication channels. Implement and uphold best practices in processes, policies, and compliance to mitigate risks and enhance efficiency. Serve as a key liaison between leadership and staff, providing strategic insights and actionable recommendations to drive performance improvements.
Clinical care responsibilities include delivering thorough outpatient consultations, overseeing antenatal and fertility clinic operations, and delivering expert medical care for obstetric and gynecological conditions.
Independently execute or provide support in obstetric and gynecological surgical interventions, such as Caesarean Sections (C-sections), fibroid removal, ovarian cyst excision, appendectomies, and other relevant gynecological operations.
Patient Management: Oversee daily ward rounds, coordinate pre- and post-operative care, and uphold the provision of exceptional, patient-focused services.
Offer round-the-clock on-site medical assistance throughout assigned shifts, ensuring immediate and expert response to obstetric emergencies.
Maintain precise medical documentation, engage in clinical audit processes, and work collaboratively with nursing and laboratory teams to enhance patient care outcomes.
Responsible for evaluating patients’ medical concerns by reviewing their history, performing diagnoses, administering treatments, providing counseling, and initiating referrals to specialists as needed.
Ordering laboratory tests and analyzing their results constitute integral components of this position. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for evaluating test outcomes to derive meaningful clinical insights.
Ensuring strict adherence to confidentiality and impartiality in all professional interactions and decisions is essential.
Responsible for gathering, documenting, and safeguarding confidential patient data, including examination outcomes, medical histories, and clinical reports.
Experienced professionals in this role are responsible for delivering obstetric care during childbirth, conducting surgical procedures as needed, and conducting daily clinical ward rounds to monitor patient progress.
Providing clear and detailed explanations to patients regarding their medical procedures or prescribed treatments.
Engaging with healthcare providers in both community settings and hospitals to facilitate collaboration and ensure coordinated patient care.
Educating the public about health matters in collaboration with healthcare colleagues.
Achieving the hospital-established benchmarks for patient satisfaction is a key responsibility of this role.
Engaging in comprehensive reviews and assessments of novel pharmaceutical offerings alongside medical sales associates.
Staying informed about the latest advancements, treatments, and medications in the medical field is essential.
Evaluating the performance and progress of resident physicians, nursing staff, and medical students through structured observation and assessment methods.
