Job Summary

We are actively seeking qualified Christian Medical Doctors specializing in gynecology to join our team, with availability to work on a rotational shift schedule. This may include either alternating day and night shifts or a one-week-on, one-week-off arrangement, depending on operational needs.

Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and performance monitoring to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align departmental goals with broader company initiatives, fostering a cohesive and productive work environment. Monitor key performance indicators to identify trends, address inefficiencies, and implement continuous improvement strategies that drive sustainable growth. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and analyses to communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities to stakeholders at all levels. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and best practices to mitigate risks and uphold organizational integrity.

Clinical Care involves delivering comprehensive outpatient consultations, overseeing antenatal and fertility clinics, and administering specialized treatment for obstetric and gynecological conditions.

Independently conduct or facilitate obstetric and gynecological surgical interventions, such as Caesarean Sections (C-Sections), fibroid removal, ovarian cyst excision, appendectomies, and other related gynecological operations.

Patient Care Coordination: Oversee daily ward rounds, coordinate comprehensive pre- and post-operative care, and uphold the provision of exceptional, patient-focused services.

Provide round-the-clock on-site medical assistance during assigned shifts, demonstrating exceptional speed and accuracy in managing obstetric emergencies.

We excel in administrative functions by ensuring precise documentation of medical records, engaging in clinical audits, and fostering collaboration with nursing and laboratory teams to enhance patient care outcomes.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients’ medical issues by reviewing their histories, performing diagnostic procedures, administering treatments, providing counseling, and facilitating referrals when appropriate.

Analyzing laboratory tests and evaluating their outcomes constitute essential responsibilities within this role.

Ensuring strict adherence to confidentiality and maintaining absolute impartiality in all situations are essential components of this role.

Gathering, documenting, and safeguarding confidential patient data, including examination findings, medical records, and clinical reports.

Assist in delivering newborns, conduct necessary surgical procedures for patients, and participate in routine clinical ward rounds to monitor patient progress.

Responsibilities include clearly outlining medical procedures and prescribed treatments to patients to ensure they fully understand the steps involved and their purpose.

The position involves collaborating with healthcare providers in both community settings and hospital environments.

Disseminating health education initiatives in collaboration with fellow healthcare practitioners.

Achieving the predetermined patient satisfaction benchmarks established by the hospital.

Engage in thorough assessments and dialogues regarding innovative pharmaceutical offerings with medical sales representatives to ensure comprehensive understanding and informed decision-making.

Staying informed about the latest advancements, treatments, and medications in the medical field is essential to ensure optimal patient care and professional competence.

Evaluating the performance and progress of trainee doctors, nurses, and medical students through direct observation and assessment.

Seeking candidates with a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field, along with proficiency in industry-standard software tools. Ideal applicants will demonstrate strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently while meeting deadlines. Experience in project management, stakeholder communication, and process optimization is strongly preferred. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and risk assessment frameworks is also essential.

Holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree earned from an accredited academic institution.

A valid practicing license along with full registration from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) is required.

Proven experience or a strong interest in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
