Job Summary

Christian Medical Doctors specializing in gynecology are presently being sought for this position. The role requires availability for shift-based work, with options including either alternating day and night shifts or a weekly rotation schedule, such as one week on duty followed by one week off.

Oversee and execute a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive organizational objectives. Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Develop and implement innovative solutions to address challenges, optimize workflows, and enhance overall productivity. Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Additionally, manage stakeholder communications, report on key metrics, and align departmental goals with broader business strategies.

Clinical care responsibilities include delivering thorough outpatient consultations, overseeing antenatal and fertility clinic operations, and delivering expert-level management of obstetric and gynecological cases.

Surgical Procedures: Conduct obstetric and gynecological surgeries, either independently or in a supporting role, encompassing Caesarean Sections (C-Sections), fibroid removal, ovarian cyst excision, appendectomies, and other related gynecological interventions.

Oversee patient care by directing daily ward rounds, coordinating pre- and post-operative management, and maintaining a commitment to delivering superior, patient-focused services.

Provide round-the-clock on-site medical assistance throughout assigned shifts, ensuring immediate and expert response to obstetric emergencies with both accuracy and urgency.

Demonstrate administrative proficiency by ensuring precise documentation of medical records, engaging in clinical audits, and fostering collaboration with nursing and laboratory teams to enhance patient care outcomes.

Responsible for addressing patients’ medical concerns by reviewing their medical history, conducting diagnoses, administering treatments, providing counseling, and, as needed, facilitating referrals to appropriate specialists or healthcare providers.

Proficiency in ordering laboratory tests and analyzing their results is essential, ensuring accurate diagnostic insights and informed clinical decision-making.

Ensuring strict confidentiality and maintaining impartiality in all circumstances are fundamental requirements.

Responsibilities include gathering, documenting, and securely managing confidential patient data, encompassing examination outcomes, medical histories, and related reports.

Engaging in comprehensive reviews and assessments of innovative pharmaceutical products alongside pharmaceutical representatives.

Staying informed about the latest advancements in medical research, treatment protocols, and pharmaceutical innovations is essential.

Evaluating the performance of trainee physicians, nurses, and medical students through direct observation and comprehensive assessments.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory, along with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in software development. Proven expertise in Python, Java, or C++ is essential, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are required. Additionally, prior experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git is necessary. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are also a key requirement for this role.

Hold an accredited Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a recognized institution.

Full registration with current license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) is required.

A mandatory prerequisite for this position is a demonstrated commitment to Obstetrics and Gynecology.
