What we are looking for
The Education Project Manager (EPM) oversees the execution of the Education CC project, delivering consistent technical guidance and conducting monitoring visits across all program sites to ensure interventions align with international best practices and effectively address the needs of participants in target communities. Additionally, the EPM serves as NRC’s representative at coordination forums, as designated by the Area Program Manager or Area Manager.
This role operates under the direct supervision of the Area Program Manager and serves as an integral contributor to the Extended Area Management Group.
What you will do
Provides leadership and oversight to project personnel, ensuring effective supervision and guidance throughout project execution. Responsible for performance management, including goal setting, feedback provision, and addressing developmental needs to foster team growth and productivity. Handles administrative duties such as attendance tracking, workload distribution, and resource allocation to maintain operational efficiency. Ensures adherence to company policies, project timelines, and quality standards while addressing any staffing concerns or conflicts.
Compliance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) standards, directives, and established protocols is mandatory.
Support the formulation and execution of Country, Area, and Education strategies, while leading or collaborating on the development of key Education initiatives.
Coordinate and oversee the execution of Education projects, ensuring alignment with approved proposals, strategic objectives, and donor mandates, while managing activities, financial resources, and comprehensive project documentation.
Provide strategic technical leadership and uphold stringent technical standards throughout all project initiatives.
Prepare and submit consistent updates on project status to the Area Manager and the Education PDM/Specialist.
To prioritize assistance for individuals most vulnerable to harm, identify and evaluate innovative and improved strategies for delivering support.
Develop and administer the project budget in collaboration with Core Competencies while facilitating seamless coordination across all relevant departments.
The position will facilitate the enhancement of project staff capabilities and the dissemination of critical expertise.
Build strong working relationships and foster collaborative partnerships with pertinent local authorities and essential stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and effective project execution.
Advocate for the rights of displaced individuals by implementing the established advocacy strategy.
