This initiative will encompass Nutrition, Food Assistance, Agriculture, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), Shelter, and Protection programs, all designed to address the urgent needs of conflict-affected communities.

The nutrition response encompasses both nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific interventions, playing a critical role in the prevention, detection, and management of malnutrition.

The role encompasses initiatives such as fostering Maternal, Infant, and Young Child Nutrition (MILAN) through structured support groups, personalized counseling sessions, and community-wide Social and Behavior Change (SBC) strategies focused on Infant and Young Child Feeding (ICCF) practices.

The initiative involves delivering additional nutritional support through the distribution of fresh food vouchers, promoting backyard gardening, and facilitating poultry production to enhance dietary diversity within targeted households.
