ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Social Media Specialist, your role will involve implementing our content strategy and overseeing our social media presence across all platforms. You will develop engaging, on-brand content, foster meaningful interactions with our communities, and contribute to the growth of two brands that resonate deeply with Nigerian audiences.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Oversee and update the organization’s social media content calendar consistently across all digital platforms to ensure timely and coordinated publishing.
Craft compelling visual content, including striking photographs, engaging short-form videos, and polished captions, all meticulously aligned with our brand’s distinct tone and identity.
Responsible for generating and disseminating content while overseeing incoming communications, including comments, direct messages, and brand references, with immediate attention and response.
Handling customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints submitted through digital channels constitutes a key aspect of this role.
Diligent monitoring of social media trends is required, alongside the development of innovative content concepts for consideration. This role involves identifying emerging patterns in digital conversations and proposing fresh, engaging ideas to capture audience attention. A keen eye for emerging trends and a creative mindset are essential to excel in this position.
Supporting campaigns, outlet launches, and events by producing coordinated content is a key responsibility of this role. This includes developing and executing content strategies that align with marketing goals and brand messaging across various platforms. The position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality content delivery. Additionally, the role involves managing content calendars, maintaining brand consistency, and adapting content to fit different campaign objectives and audience segments.
Working in partnership with marketing and operations teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all channels and initiatives is a key responsibility.
Seeking innovative ways to foster influencer partnerships and cultivate authentic user-generated content initiatives.
