The Human Resources and Operations Officer will assist the HR department in executing established policies and procedures, overseeing employee relations, and maintaining the efficient functioning of HR operations at MSHE Homes Limited. This position encompasses responsibilities related to recruitment, onboarding initiatives, performance management, and fostering employee engagement.

Oversee the execution of core duties encompassing leadership in strategic planning, operational efficiency, and team supervision to drive organizational objectives. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless integration of processes, while monitoring performance metrics to identify opportunities for enhancement. Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to cultivate talent, resolve challenges, and promote professional growth, ensuring alignment with company values and long-term vision.

Craft compelling job descriptions and publish job openings to attract top talent.

Resumes are reviewed, interviews are carried out, and the hiring process is managed to completion.

Assist in integrating new hires into the organization by delivering structured orientation sessions and comprehensive training programs.

Serve as the primary liaison for addressing employee inquiries and resolving concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Provide assistance to the HR Manager in managing employee relations matters, including disciplinary measures and conflict resolution initiatives.

Foster a supportive and dynamic workplace by implementing initiatives that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

Support the execution and ongoing evaluation of performance appraisal systems.

Assist managers with establishing performance goals and carrying out assessments.

Offer constructive feedback and guidance to staff members as required, ensuring their professional growth and alignment with organizational goals.

Conduct a comprehensive assessment of training requirements and develop, organize, and implement targeted employee development initiatives to enhance skills and performance.

Assess the impact and success of training and development programs to ensure they meet organizational objectives and enhance employee performance.

Maintain accurate records of all training activities and oversee adherence to established training protocols and regulatory standards.

Ensure employee records and HR documentation are consistently accurate and current at all times.

Compile comprehensive HR reports encompassing attendance records, leave balances, and payroll details.

Maintain adherence to all applicable labor laws and internal company policies.

Assess and optimize operational workflows to enhance efficiency and minimize unnecessary expenditures of time and resources.

Oversee all supply chain functions, encompassing procurement strategies, inventory management, and efficient distribution systems, to ensure seamless operations and optimal resource utilization.

Collaborate with diverse departments to maintain seamless workflows and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Ensure strict compliance with all established company policies, pertinent industry regulations, and established risk management protocols.

Monitor performance metrics, evaluate operational data, and initiate corrective actions where necessary.

Facilitate the execution and adherence to established health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.

Perform routine safety assessments and promptly escalate any identified concerns to senior leadership for resolution.

Performing any additional duties, as deemed necessary or appropriate by management, to advance the interests of the Company in your role as a Human Resources Officer.

Seeking a qualified candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. The ideal applicant must possess at least three years of hands-on experience in software development, specializing in Python and JavaScript. Proficiency in database management systems, particularly SQL, is required, along with familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams are essential. Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are also necessary.

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.

A minimum of three years of specialized experience in an HR capacity is required, with a preferred background in the real estate or construction sectors.

Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of Nigerian labor legislation and recommended human resources protocols.

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are essential for effective collaboration and engagement.

Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and specialized HR software is essential.
