A six-month initial contract is offered, with the potential for extension to a total duration of twelve months.

We are looking for a skilled ESG Researcher to contribute to a joint Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) analysis focused on Nigeria’s oil industry.

Oversee and manage core organizational duties, ensuring alignment with strategic goals while maintaining operational excellence across key functions. Duties include leading cross-functional teams, optimizing workflows, and driving process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency. Responsibilities also encompass developing and implementing policies, monitoring performance metrics, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous development. The role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Perform comprehensive research and analysis of data pertaining to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors.

Conduct a thorough analysis of industry reports, examine pertinent policies, and evaluate relevant literature to gather comprehensive information.

Craft meticulously researched reports, succinct briefs, and polished presentations of the highest caliber.

Facilitate effective collaboration with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes and timely deliverables.

Requirements

A degree in Environmental Science, Social Sciences, Economics, Public Policy, Sustainability, or a closely related discipline is required.

Experienced professionals with a track record of carrying out ESG, sustainability, governance, or policy research in Nigeria are encouraged to apply.

Proficient understanding of Nigeria’s oil and gas industry dynamics, including regulatory frameworks, key players, and market trends.

Proven expertise in research, data analysis, and the preparation of comprehensive reports is essential.

Demonstrates strong self-management skills while consistently delivering work within established timeframes.

The position requires on-site attendance at the designated workplace.
