Role Description
This position is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive Driver stationed in the Leak area of Lagos State, Nigeria. The Executive Driver will ensure executives receive dependable and timely transportation services.
The position requires ensuring the vehicle’s upkeep and cleanliness, complying with traffic laws and safety protocols, optimizing travel routes for efficiency, and documenting all servicing and repair activities. Delivering courteous and professional service to passengers is a key responsibility.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, is required. A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in software development, system administration, or a comparable technical role is essential. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including but not limited to Python, Java, or C++, along with expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, is mandatory. Strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional analytical skills, and the capacity to work effectively in a collaborative team environment are also necessary. Prior experience in project management or leading technical initiatives is highly advantageous.
You must possess a valid driver’s license and have a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
Relocation to the Island is a prerequisite for this role.
With a strong track record of navigating the Island’s terrain, the ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience in local driving conditions.
Adept at fostering clear, professional communication and building rapport with both passengers and colleagues to ensure smooth interactions.
Demonstrates exceptional customer service abilities by ensuring courteous interactions, maintaining reliability, and prioritizing passenger satisfaction at every opportunity.
Proficiency in local traffic regulations and navigational expertise within Lagos State’s road infrastructure is required.
A keen eye for detail, adherence to schedules, and a spotless driving history are essential.
A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required; however, additional certifications in defensive driving or related fields would be beneficial.
