The Region Manager holds accountability for the operational performance of multiple logistics sites, directing site activities through subordinate leadership—namely, site managers—and guaranteeing efficient, secure, and economically responsible logistics operations. This position encompasses strategic planning, personnel oversight, and client and stakeholder engagement to uphold superior customer satisfaction while expanding the site’s pickup services.

Oversee and manage key operational tasks to ensure seamless execution, including coordinating team activities, monitoring progress, and addressing any arising challenges. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency, while maintaining strict adherence to company policies and industry regulations. Responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of various logistics facilities to maintain seamless and productive workflows, encompassing parcel collection, transportation, final delivery, and returns for undelivered items.

Design and execute operational strategies aimed at enhancing efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

Proficiency in financial software, advanced Excel skills, and a strong grasp of GAAP principles are required. Analytical rigor, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex financial data are essential for success in this role.

Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. A minimum of five years of experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team are essential. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and experience with Agile methodologies are required. Excellent communication skills and a passion for continuous learning are highly valued.

A bachelor’s degree or higher national diploma (HND) in Business Administration, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a closely related discipline is required. Possessing an M.Sc. or MBA would further strengthen your candidacy.

Minimum of five to seven years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain management, or e-commerce is required, with a demonstrated expertise in last-mile delivery processes.

A minimum of two to three years of demonstrated experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity is required, with responsibility for directing multiple teams and/or facilities.

Proficiency in franchise or hub management, encompassing partner and vendor coordination as well as performance tracking, is essential.

Proven expertise in overseeing operations management, strategizing route planning, coordinating fleet activities, and enhancing delivery efficiency.

Experience overseeing key performance indicators and service level agreements, adept at fostering performance enhancements across multiple regions.

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Microsoft Excel, is required, with prior experience in logistics or ERP systems considered a valuable asset.
