Job Summary

The General Manager is tasked with providing strategic leadership to drive profitability, operational excellence, and sustainable growth for the branch. This position oversees all operational units on-site, including the bakery, restaurant, mart, filling station, and supporting functions, while ensuring adherence to corporate standards, fostering exceptional customer service, and maximizing revenue potential.

Oversee a range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and team leadership to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance productivity, quality, and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align departmental goals with broader company initiatives, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Monitor progress through regular assessments, data analysis, and reporting mechanisms to identify trends, address challenges, and drive informed decision-making. Act as a liaison between senior management and staff, ensuring clear communication of expectations, feedback, and organizational updates.

Demonstrate strategic and operational leadership across all business units within the branch.

Spearhead revenue growth and enhance profitability for bakery, restaurant, mart, and station operations.

Formulate and execute comprehensive business plans and operational strategies to drive organizational growth and efficiency.

Oversee the financial performance of each branch, meticulously tracking revenue and profit metrics to confirm alignment with established targets.

Responsible for supervising inventory control processes to reduce waste and loss.

Maintain adherence to all health, safety, financial, and regulatory standards to ensure full compliance across all operations.

Oversee departmental leaders to uphold accountability for outcomes and performance standards.

Analyze operational reports and take corrective measures as needed to address discrepancies or inefficiencies.

Cultivate robust, mutually beneficial connections with clients, vendors, regulatory bodies, and local community partners.

Analyze potential growth avenues and propose strategic initiatives to enhance business performance.

Deliver outstanding customer service consistently at every touchpoint throughout the customer journey.

Orchestrate recruitment efforts, performance management strategies, and staff development programs within the branch.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-specific software or tools is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proven track record of delivering results under tight deadlines. Experience in project management or leadership is a plus, and familiarity with compliance standards or regulatory requirements is beneficial. The role requires adaptability to evolving priorities and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related discipline is required.

An MBA qualification is considered a beneficial asset.

A minimum of eight years of management experience, including at least three years in a senior leadership capacity, is required.

Proficiency in overseeing diverse operational units across retail, hospitality, manufacturing, or comparable industries is essential.
