Job Summary
We are actively seeking qualified Christian Medical Doctors with specialized training in gynecology, available to work flexible shift arrangements, including either alternating day and night shifts or a one-week-on, one-week-off schedule.
Oversee daily operations to ensure alignment with organizational goals, fostering an environment conducive to productivity and innovation. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement across teams. Collaborate with senior leadership to establish clear objectives, monitor progress, and allocate resources effectively. Manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and accountability. Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability, empowering teams to achieve excellence.
Conduct thorough outpatient consultations, oversee antenatal and fertility clinics, and deliver expert-level care for obstetric and gynecological cases.
Independently execute or provide support in obstetric and gynecological surgical interventions, such as Caesarean Sections (C-sections), fibroid removal, ovarian cyst excision, appendectomies, and other related gynecological operations.
Patient Management: You will oversee daily ward rounds, coordinate pre- and post-operative care, and uphold the provision of exceptional, patient-focused services.
Emergency Response: Deliver 24/7 on-site medical care during designated shifts, ensuring prompt and expert management of obstetric emergencies with accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain meticulous medical records and actively engage in clinical audits to ensure compliance and accuracy. Collaborate closely with nursing and laboratory teams to enhance patient care and operational efficiency, fostering seamless interdisciplinary coordination.
Responsible for addressing patients’ medical concerns by reviewing their medical histories, performing diagnostic evaluations, administering treatments, providing counseling, and coordinating referrals as needed.
Ordering necessary laboratory tests and analyzing their results form a key component of this role, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
Ensuring strict adherence to confidentiality protocols and maintaining unwavering impartiality in all professional interactions and decision-making processes is essential.
Responsibilities include gathering, documenting, and securely managing confidential patient data, such as test results, medical histories, and clinical reports.
Deliver babies, conduct necessary surgical procedures for patients, and perform routine clinical ward rounds.
The professional is responsible for clearly communicating medical procedures and prescribed treatments to patients, ensuring they fully understand the information provided.
Act as a liaison between healthcare providers in both community settings and hospital environments to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver health education initiatives effectively.
Ensuring compliance with the hospital’s established patient satisfaction benchmarks.
Engaging in comprehensive reviews and assessments of innovative pharmaceutical products alongside pharmaceutical representatives to ensure thorough understanding and informed decision-making.
Staying informed of the latest advancements in medical research, emerging treatments, and pharmaceutical innovations is essential to ensure optimal patient care and evidence-based practice.
Evaluating the performance of resident physicians, nursing staff, and medical students through direct observation and assessment ensures adherence to clinical standards and professional development.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field, such as business development, sales, or account management, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Hold an MBBS degree from a recognized and accredited medical institution.
Full registration with a current practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) is required.
A mandatory prerequisite for this role is a demonstrated commitment to Obstetrics and Gynecology.
