Job Summary
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic HVAC Technician Trainee who demonstrates a keen interest in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The preferred applicant will show a strong willingness to acquire new technical competencies and advance their career in the HVAC industry through practical training and real-world experience.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of critical duties, including but not limited to strategic planning, operational management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive organizational objectives. Duties involve analyzing performance metrics, identifying process improvements, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Additionally, the role requires maintaining compliance with industry regulations, fostering team development, and ensuring seamless communication across departments. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving business needs while delivering measurable results.
Engage in hands-on training and educational initiatives conducted in the workplace to enhance skills and knowledge.
Provide support to skilled technicians throughout the installation, maintenance, and repair processes.
Acquire proficiency in the safe operation and utilization of HVAC tools, equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
Perform regular inspections and carry out preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field is required.
Individuals should possess a keen enthusiasm for HVAC systems and technical operations.
Demonstrates a proactive approach to acquiring and enhancing technical competencies.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong capacity for collaboration within a team setting are essential.
Capable of performing tasks in physically challenging conditions.
Relocation to Port Harcourt is mandatory for this position.
