The school is looking for a skilled, forward-thinking, and student-centered Business Studies and EVE Teacher to enhance our secondary school faculty. The ideal applicant will be tasked with crafting and delivering dynamic lessons in Business Studies and National Values Education (EVE), in addition to fostering students’ intellectual, ethical, and personal growth.

Execute critical duties that include analyzing complex data sets to identify trends and insights, designing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align projects with organizational goals. Oversee compliance with industry regulations while ensuring adherence to company policies, and prepare comprehensive reports to present findings and recommendations to senior leadership. Additionally, manage stakeholder relationships, lead process improvements, and monitor key performance indicators to drive continuous organizational growth and innovation.

Deliver instructional sessions and facilitate learning experiences in strict accordance with approved teaching frameworks, lesson plans, and established school policies.

Utilize contemporary, student-centered instructional strategies to deliver Business Studies and National Values Education (EVE) courses with excellence.

Develop comprehensive lesson notes, assignments, class activities, assessments, and examination materials that strictly adhere to established curriculum standards.

Monitor students’ academic advancement and assess the efficacy and comprehensiveness of instructional strategies and teaching methodologies, offering constructive feedback as necessary.

Determine which students require specialized learning support and collaborate with the Remedial Teacher to design tailored intervention plans.

Ensure classroom discipline by enforcing approved disciplinary measures for minor infractions and promptly escalating any significant disciplinary concerns to the Sectional Head.

Deliver compassionate pastoral care while fostering the academic, social, moral, and emotional growth of students.

Grade students’ classwork, tests, projects, assignments, and examinations with precision and timeliness.

Continuously monitor and report on students’ progress, behavior, and achievements.

Develop and sustain clear, professional relationships with parents and guardians to ensure ongoing dialogue about students’ academic progress and overall well-being.

Foster a collaborative and supportive learning atmosphere, encouraging cooperation and teamwork throughout the school community.

Engage proactively in staff meetings, school programs, training sessions, and extracurricular initiatives to support collaborative efforts and foster a dynamic learning environment.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Education (B. Ed.) or a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc. Ed.) with a specialization in Business Education, Economics, Educational Management, Social Studies, or an equivalent field is required.

Candidates holding TRCN certification will be viewed favorably during the selection process.

Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of teaching experience within a secondary school setting.

Demonstrates a robust understanding of the Business Studies and National Values Education curricula, ensuring alignment with educational standards and pedagogical principles.

Effective classroom management abilities and strong communication skills are essential for this role.

Capable of fostering a dynamic learning environment that encourages students to strive for both academic achievement and ethical growth.
