Draft and submit payment requests for each division, ensuring they align precisely with the payroll summary totals.
Compile final entitlements for employees exiting the organization, whether due to resignation or retirement.
Ensure the precise management and fulfillment of staff appointments, transfers, promotions, and terminations with meticulous attention to detail.
Ensure that all newly hired employees and reinstated staff members are accurately recorded within the payroll system for proper processing.
Ensure strict compliance with all applicable labor laws, tax regulations as stipulated by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), and established organizational policies.
Employee Support & Issue Resolution: You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical or operational issues escalated by customers, ensuring timely and effective solutions to maintain service quality. This role involves identifying root causes of problems, documenting resolution steps, and applying knowledge of relevant systems, tools, and procedures to deliver accurate and efficient outcomes. Requirements
Minimum educational requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. A minimum of 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience is required, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CIA are strongly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities is required.
A university degree or equivalent qualification in Industrial Relations and Labour is required.
