What You’ll Own

Routine and unscheduled site visits are conducted to proactively identify potential hazards before they result in incidents.

We are responsible for creating and enforcing risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work systems to ensure operational safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

Conducting in-depth root-cause analyses for all incidents and near-miss occurrences to identify underlying issues.

Facilitating regular Toolbox Talks—held daily or weekly—as well as delivering essential site safety inductions to all personnel.

Ensuring strict adherence to personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols for all personnel on-site is mandatory, with no allowances for exceptions.

Comprehensive emergency preparedness encompasses the development and implementation of response strategies, regular execution of training exercises, and consistent maintenance of first aid capabilities.

To guarantee adherence to Nigerian federal and local construction safety regulations, meticulous oversight and implementation of established guidelines are required. This includes verifying that all construction activities align with statutory safety standards and local ordinances to mitigate risks and ensure a secure working environment.

Possesses the ability to immediately suspend any work deemed unsafe on-site.

What We’re Looking For

With a minimum of five years of hands-on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) experience in dynamic construction or real estate development environments.

A valid BOSH Certificate or Diploma is an essential requirement for this position.

A valid OSHA 30-Hour Construction Card is mandatory for this role.

Proficiency in Nigerian construction safety regulations alongside international Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) frameworks is essential.

Membership in the ISP is highly advantageous.

A Bachelor of Science degree or Higher National Diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or an equivalent discipline is required.
