Job Summary

We invite applications from motivated and meticulous individuals for the position of Technical Design Officer, where you will contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of automotive products and components.

The ideal candidate will prepare technical drawings, support product development initiatives, perform design analyses, and work closely with engineering and production teams to guarantee that designs adhere to quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.

Oversee and execute a broad range of critical duties to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with established standards. Implement and monitor strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and achieve organizational objectives. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align efforts, resolve challenges, and drive consistent performance improvements. Maintain rigorous adherence to policies, regulations, and industry best practices to mitigate risks and uphold accountability. Prepare comprehensive reports, analyze key performance indicators, and present actionable insights to senior leadership to inform data-driven decision-making. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying training needs, mentoring staff, and promoting professional development opportunities.

Create and maintain accurate engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure precision and clarity in all project deliverables.

Collaborate on the conceptualization and engineering of vehicle components, systems, and assemblies.

Develop and refine 2D and 3D models utilizing advanced Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to meet project specifications and enhance design accuracy.

Assist in the creation, evaluation, and verification of prototype systems to ensure they meet required specifications and performance standards.

Conduct thorough design evaluations and propose enhancements to boost product efficiency and manufacturability.

Work closely with production, quality assurance, procurement, and engineering teams to verify that all design specifications are fulfilled.

Maintain adherence to organizational benchmarks, automotive industry regulations, and mandatory safety protocols.

Provide support for engineering calculations, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations to determine project viability and feasibility.

Ensure meticulous documentation of all design modifications and project-related records.

Monitor advancements in automotive technologies, materials, and design trends to ensure alignment with industry developments.

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in [specific field or industry]. Proficiency in [specific software, tools, or methodologies] is essential, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office applications is essential for this position.

Professional engineering certification can provide an additional advantage.
