Job Summary
We seek a meticulous and focused Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Officer to assist in establishing and upholding quality standards throughout our automotive manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate will conduct thorough product inspections, oversee production processes, detect quality discrepancies, and uphold adherence to both corporate and industry regulations.
Key duties involve collaborating cross-functionally to develop and execute strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and drive sustainable growth. Responsibilities include overseeing project timelines, allocating resources effectively, and monitoring performance metrics to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Perform thorough evaluations of raw materials, components, and completed vehicles to verify adherence to established quality standards.
Oversee ongoing production operations to detect any variances from predefined quality standards and take corrective measures as necessary.
Conduct thorough quality assessments and precise measurements utilizing the appropriate inspection tools and equipment.
Accurately record inspection findings and compile comprehensive quality reports.
Conduct thorough examinations of product defects and support efforts to identify their underlying causes, implementing appropriate corrective measures to resolve issues efficiently.
To guarantee compliance with organizational quality protocols, safety guidelines, and industry best practices.
Engage in internal quality audits and assist with external audit processes as required.
Work closely with production and engineering teams to enhance product quality and optimize manufacturing processes.
Ensure the meticulous preparation and upkeep of quality records and relevant documentation to maintain compliance and traceability.
Provide support in educating production staff regarding quality standards and optimal methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field is required. A minimum of three years of experience in software development, systems analysis, or a comparable role is necessary. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are crucial for troubleshooting and optimizing systems. Excellent communication abilities are needed to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus. Understanding of agile methodologies and software development best practices is required. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, is mandatory.
A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Automobile Engineering, or a comparable discipline—either a Bachelor’s degree or a Higher National Diploma (HND)—is required.
A minimum of two to three years of direct experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control is required, with a preferred background in automobile manufacturing.
Proficiency in quality inspection methodologies and established quality management systems is required.
Demonstrates exceptional aptitude for analyzing complex information and resolving challenges efficiently.
Highly developed attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for this role.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, fostering clear and concise exchanges to achieve shared objectives. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills in both verbal and written interactions, ensuring alignment and synergy within the team.
Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office applications is required.
Professional certifications in quality management are highly desirable for this role.
