As an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Teacher, your role will involve fostering digital literacy and technical proficiency among students. You will design and implement dynamic curricula, oversee computer lab operations, and evaluate student performance. Furthermore, you will maintain the functionality of software and hardware systems while advocating for responsible and secure internet usage.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties, including the management and coordination of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines. Facilitate team collaboration and communication, fostering an environment of accountability and innovation while monitoring progress and addressing any challenges that may arise. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, drive growth, and maintain high standards of performance across all assigned functions. Contribute to the formulation of policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize workflows and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Curriculum Delivery involves designing, organizing, and executing captivating ICT lessons aligned with educational benchmarks while addressing the varied needs of learners.
Essential digital literacy skills will be developed, including proficiency in office suites (e.g., Microsoft Office and Google Workspace), internet safety practices, and introductory programming languages (e.g., Python and Scratch).
Develop examinations, assignments, and practical assessments to measure student progress; deliver constructive feedback to foster ongoing improvement.
Lab Management: Spearhead the administration and upkeep of the institution’s computer laboratories, ensuring all hardware components—including computers, projectors, and peripherals—remain operational, secure, and in optimal working condition.
Serve as a mentor to students, providing guidance on ICT career exploration and support for technical challenges encountered during class projects.
