The chosen candidate must independently craft superior men’s garments while maintaining an unwavering commitment to precision and detail.
Oversee and execute a diverse range of duties, including ensuring operational efficiency, managing workflows, addressing challenges, and fostering collaboration among teams to meet organizational goals. Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and maintain high standards across all assigned functions. Act as a key liaison between leadership and staff, facilitating clear communication, resolving conflicts, and aligning efforts with strategic objectives. Monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, and report findings to stakeholders to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Additionally, mentor and support team members through coaching, training, and professional development initiatives to cultivate a high-performing workforce.
Create innovative apparel designs, progressing from initial sketches to finished garments.
Develop comprehensive production-ready sketches with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and clarity for manufacturing teams.
Perform comprehensive market research to stay abreast of the latest trends, color palettes, fabric innovations, and industry techniques.
Timely completion and delivery of garments must be consistently maintained.
Responsible for directing fitting sessions and making essential modifications to patterns as needed.
Must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, along with at least three years of hands-on experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is required, and familiarity with web development frameworks is a plus. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Prior experience with agile methodologies is highly desirable, and a solid understanding of database management systems is necessary.
A Higher National Diploma (HND), Bachelor of Science, or Technical Diploma—along with an equivalent qualification—is required.
Requires 1 to 10 years of relevant tailoring experience to perform the role effectively.
Skilled in manual sketching techniques with a high level of proficiency.
Proven capacity to meet stringent deadlines while successfully juggling multiple concurrent projects.
Creativity at a high level and meticulous attention to detail are essential attributes for this role.
Skilled in effectively communicating and providing exceptional customer service during client interactions.
Demonstrates an ability to rapidly grasp and accurately interpret design specifications with clarity and precision.
