Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity, managing project timelines and deliverables in alignment with organizational objectives, and leading cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and innovation. Additionally, the role involves conducting performance evaluations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance operational performance. Accountability for budget management, resource allocation, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations is also required. The position demands strong leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement in all facets of the role.
Create bespoke clothing designs, progressing from preliminary sketches to fully realized garments.
Prepare comprehensive production sketches with precision and clarity.
Perform comprehensive market research to stay abreast of prevailing trends, including color palettes, fabric innovations, and emerging techniques.
Verify that all completed garments are delivered punctually.
Responsibilities include supervising fittings and executing required modifications to patterns.
Seeking a candidate with a minimum of five years of experience in a related field, proficiency in industry-standard software, and a proven track record of managing complex projects. The ideal applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, demonstrate exceptional communication skills, and exhibit the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Additional requirements include adherence to deadlines, a strong attention to detail, and the capacity to adapt to evolving priorities and challenges.
A recognized academic credential such as a Higher National Diploma (HND), Bachelor of Science, or Technical Diploma—along with comparable qualifications—is required.
With a minimum of 1 to 10 years of experience in tailoring, you possess a solid foundation in garment construction, alterations, and fitting techniques.
Sketching by hand with a high level of expertise.
Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in handling high-pressure environments and efficiently juggling multiple simultaneous projects without compromising quality or timelines.
Highly creative individuals with meticulous attention to detail are essential for this role. The position demands innovative thinking and precision in executing tasks to ensure outstanding outcomes.
Proficient in effectively communicating with clients and delivering exceptional customer service is essential, as interactions with clients play a crucial role in the position.
Ability to swiftly analyze and accurately interpret design specifications.
