The Civil Society Scaling-Up Nutrition in Nigeria (ASSUAN) is a non-governmental, non-profit coalition comprising organizations united by a common vision: to create a Nigeria where all citizens enjoy food security and proper nutrition. To achieve this mission, ASSUAN collaborates with government entities and non-state stakeholders, working to enhance awareness, foster sustained dedication, and mobilize effective strategies to combat under-nutrition across the country.
ASSUAN serves as the Nigerian Civil Society Alliance (CSA) for the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) global initiative, established on the core belief that access to food and proper nutrition is a fundamental human right. Nigeria became part of this international movement in 2011, leading to the establishment of its CSA wing, ASSUAN, in November 2013 in Florin, Kara State, Nigeria. The alliance was formally launched on August 7, 2014.
ASSUAN is now inviting proposals from competent and seasoned vendors capable of furnishing, installing, and commissioning hybrid solar power systems integrated with lithium battery storage solutions.
Scope of Work
The chosen vendor(s) will be tasked with fulfilling the following obligations:
