Job Summary
Denote Cement Transport seeks a highly skilled and results-driven professional to join our team in Book and Capella. The ideal candidate will oversee the full scope of supply chain responsibilities, with particular emphasis on warehouse management, inventory oversight, procurement alignment, and operational logistics. This role will involve strategic contributions to enhance storage infrastructure, guarantee punctual deliveries, and advance the company’s operational objectives.
Oversee and execute critical duties and responsibilities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Engage in strategic planning, project management, and process optimization to drive efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions. Maintain compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices in all activities. Prepare and present detailed reports to stakeholders, highlighting performance metrics, key insights, and actionable recommendations. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and professional development among team members.
Manage all store and logistics operations on a daily basis, encompassing receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatch.
Devise and execute logistics strategies aimed at enhancing efficiency in warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations.
Oversee store and warehouse operations, providing leadership and direction to teams to drive exceptional performance while strictly adhering to safety and quality protocols.
Develop and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and enhance operational efficiency within the supply chain.
Oversee precise inventory documentation and verify stock accuracy via routine audits.
Partner with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure supply chain operations are fully integrated with organizational objectives.
Maintain adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards across all logistics and warehousing activities to ensure operational compliance.
Analyze operational processes within stores and logistics to uncover potential cost reductions and implement ongoing enhancement strategies.
Seeking candidates with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least three years of professional experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities are required to excel in this position. Previous experience leading projects or teams is highly desirable.
Accumulated a decade or more of demonstrated expertise in senior-level logistics or stores management positions.
Possesses in-depth expertise in inventory systems, warehousing operations, and supply chain management strategies.
Proficiency in implementing and utilizing ERP systems, including but not limited to SAP, Oracle, and comparable platforms, is required.
Proven expertise in leadership, organizational planning, and effective communication is essential for success in this role.
Experienced in thriving under pressure and delivering results within tight time constraints.
A degree or professional qualification in a field related to Logistics, Supply Chain Management, CAPS, CULT, CSCP, or CPIM is required.
