Job Summary
Denote Cement Transport is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven professional to join our team in Book and Capella. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing all aspects of the supply chain, with particular emphasis on warehouse management, inventory oversight, procurement synchronization, and operational logistics. In this strategic role, the individual will be instrumental in enhancing storage infrastructure, guaranteeing punctual deliveries, and aligning supply chain activities with the company’s broader operational objectives.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties and responsibilities central to the role, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Deliver high-impact results through meticulous planning, proactive problem-solving, and continuous performance optimization. Serve as a key contributor to cross-functional initiatives, fostering collaboration and driving measurable outcomes. Maintain rigorous adherence to established policies, standards, and best practices while identifying opportunities for process enhancement. Manage all store and logistics operations on a daily basis, encompassing receiving, storage, inventory management, and order dispatch.
Our role involves devising and executing strategic logistics solutions to enhance the efficiency of warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations.
Oversee both store and warehouse teams to drive exceptional performance while maintaining rigorous adherence to safety and quality protocols.
To assess and enhance performance throughout the supply chain, develop, implement, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Ensure precise inventory records are maintained and verify stock accuracy consistently through scheduled audits.
Work collaboratively with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure supply chain operations are fully aligned with organizational objectives.
To uphold adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards across all logistics and warehousing activities.
Evaluate processes within stores and logistics operations to uncover potential cost reductions and implement ongoing enhancement strategies.
We seek candidates with a strong academic background and relevant professional experience. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, although advanced degrees are preferred. Additionally, a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role is necessary. Prior to work in a similar industry or with related technologies will be considered advantageous.
Experience includes at least ten years in a senior logistics or stores management capacity.
Proven expertise in inventory systems, warehouse operations, and supply chain management practices is required.
Proven expertise in implementing, configuring, and utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, or comparable platforms is essential.
Proven ability to inspire and guide teams, coupled with strong organizational acumen and clear, persuasive communication.
Demonstrated capacity to thrive in high-pressure environments while consistently delivering results within stringent deadlines.
A degree or professional qualification in a field related to Logistics, Supply Chain Management, CAPS, CULT, CSCP, or CPIM is required.
