Oversee a comprehensive range of essential functions, including the development and execution of strategic initiatives, the management of cross-functional projects, and the alignment of business objectives with operational practices. Identify, recruit, engage, and enable Farmer Business Associates (FBA’s) as well as other key rural stakeholders throughout all operational clusters.
Design and implement community-based frameworks to facilitate the efficient distribution of inputs at the last-mile level, streamline aggregation processes, and ensure the delivery of expert advisory services.
Orchestrate the statewide deployment of Extension Africa’s AI-powered Extension Advisory System, Hiroki.
We are responsible for organizing and facilitating Training of Trainers (Tots), farmer training programs, and ongoing field coaching sessions.
Responsibilities include evaluating and integrating vendors such as input suppliers, mechanization providers, and financial service providers into the organization’s network.
Develop and sustain strong partnerships with ADP’s, government entities, and development collaborators to foster collaborative initiatives and mutual growth.
Generate revenue streams by cultivating strategic partnerships, delivering high-quality services, and expanding operations within rural marketplaces.
Accurate and timely data collection must be consistently maintained throughout all field activities, with regular reports submitted to the RED Coordinator to ensure comprehensive oversight and effective communication.
Responsible for managing and directing daily field activities, such as coordinating schedules, overseeing logistics, and assigning team deployments.
Seeking a candidate with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in a related field, along with a bachelor’s degree in a pertinent discipline. The ideal applicant will possess strong analytical skills, demonstrated proficiency in data management, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools is essential, as is the capacity to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels.
A four-year degree in Agricultural Extension, Agronomy, or a closely related discipline is required.
Demonstrated expertise in on-the-ground field operations and fostering relationships with rural stakeholders, ideally within a private sector or commercially oriented agricultural framework.
Proven expertise in smallholder farmer systems and the complexities of rural market ecosystems is essential.
Proficiency in digital extension tools or technology-enabled agricultural programs constitutes a favorable qualification.
Proven track record in leading field teams and achieving performance targets consistently.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with proven expertise in clear and concise communication, detailed reporting, and cultivating lasting professional relationships.
Possesses a strong commercial acumen and excels at recognizing and capitalizing on partnership prospects to drive strategic alliances.
Demonstrates a readiness to undertake regular travel across Local Government Areas (Gas) and rural communities within Sarawak State.
