Job Description

The HR Assistant, operating at an entry-level capacity, will deliver essential administrative and operational assistance to the Human Resources department.

This position supports the onboarding of new employees, maintains accurate personnel records, oversees staff welfare initiatives, and handles daily HR functions in a mining and industrial operational setting.

Manages and oversees key operational tasks, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and strategic goals. Implements policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance within the department. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, resolve challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Conducts regular performance evaluations to assess team effectiveness and identify opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement. Maintains accurate documentation, reports, and records to support data-driven decision-making and regulatory adherence. Acts as a liaison between senior leadership and frontline staff to facilitate clear communication and alignment on priorities.

Support recruitment initiatives by crafting job postings, reviewing candidate resumes, coordinating interview schedules, and facilitating new hire onboarding processes.

Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and updating of employee files, records, and HR databases.

Facilitate the integration and orientation of new support staff, ensuring a smooth and comprehensive onboarding experience.

Support attendance tracking, manage leave requests, and maintain payroll documentation.

Address employee inquiries and elevate concerns to appropriate levels when required.

Assist in the execution of HR policies, procedures, and organizational guidelines.

Help facilitate the planning and execution of training programs, meetings, and staff-related activities.

Facilitate the administration of employee welfare initiatives alongside disciplinary documentation procedures.

Maintain strict confidentiality of all employee information at all times.

Handle various HR and administrative responsibilities as directed.
