Perform comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing capabilities to identify areas of concern or need for intervention.
Craft personalized treatment strategies and oversee their execution to ensure optimal patient care and recovery outcomes.
Provide therapeutic services to clients both at the clinic and in their residential settings.
Accurately track and record patient progress to ensure precise documentation.
Deliver comprehensive education and assistance to patients, their families, and caregivers.
Work closely and seamlessly with physiotherapists and other members of the healthcare team to ensure cohesive patient care.
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism while ensuring full compliance with all applicable ethical principles and regulatory requirements.
The position necessitates a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field, with proficiency in project management and data analysis as essential skills. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a relevant discipline is mandatory. Strong communication abilities and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team are also required. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning and innovation. Experience with industry-specific software and tools is preferred but not mandatory.
A degree in Speech and Language Therapy, Speech Pathology, or an equivalent discipline is required.
Professional registration in a pertinent field, when applicable, is required.
Clinical proficiency, effective communication, and interpersonal expertise are essential.
Demonstrates strong self-motivation and the capacity to effectively oversee a varied and dynamic caseload with minimal supervision.
Experience in pediatric, adult, neurological, or community-based practice is beneficial.
Capable of traveling within Lagos for conducting home visits.
