Job Description
Overseeing the engineering team, you will ensure all capital projects are executed with technical excellence and adhere to statutory requirements.
Identify and resolve typical valve issues, including leaks, mechanical malfunctions, and signs of wear and tear.
Provide assistance with the disassembly and reassembly of valves to facilitate part replacement, cleaning, and conditioning procedures.
Evaluate valve performance and verify that valves align with customer specifications.
Conduct routine testing of valves, including leak, pressure, and flow assessments.
Provide support in the upkeep and calibration of field instruments to ensure precise process control.
Highly skilled in utilizing Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Autodesk AutoCAD and MATLAB software proficiently.
A thorough knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards is required.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science (BSC) or an equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or Process Engineering is required.
Minimum five to seven years of hands-on experience in valve calibration, flow measurement, instrumentation, and project management within the oil and gas sector is required.
