Interpret fashion designs and translate them into complete, production-ready garments, ensuring alignment with the original creative vision while meeting technical and quality standards.
Select suitable fabrics, threads, and materials that align with the project’s specifications and quality standards.
Ensure the proper upkeep and functionality of sewing machines and tailoring equipment.
Maintain a tidy and orderly work environment at all times.
Consistently deliver high-quality work while ensuring all tasks are completed within established deadlines.
Requirement
A secondary school education is required as a minimum, with formal training in tailoring or fashion design being advantageous.
Requires a demonstrated track record in tailoring or dressmaking.
Proven expertise in both hand sewing and machine sewing techniques is required.
Proficiency in garment construction and pattern development is essential, encompassing a comprehensive understanding of the techniques and processes involved in creating apparel from initial design to final production.
Proficient in operating sewing machines, cutting tools, and pressing equipment is required.
