Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will spearhead sales growth, market expansion, and distributor performance across the designated territory. The position encompasses leadership of sales teams, cultivation of distribution networks, fortification of key customer partnerships, and delivery of regional sales targets in alignment with Granite Hygiene Product’s strategic goals.

Oversee and execute core duties encompassing strategic planning, operational management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive organizational objectives. Ensure adherence to established protocols while fostering innovation and efficiency in daily processes. Lead initiatives to enhance productivity, optimize resource allocation, and support team performance through clear guidance and constructive feedback. Monitor progress, analyze outcomes, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain alignment with business goals. Serve as a liaison between departments to facilitate seamless communication and alignment of priorities.

To devise and execute effective regional sales strategies, ensuring consistent attainment of monthly and annual sales targets, is a key responsibility of this role.

Formulate and execute strategic sales initiatives designed to meet organizational objectives while broadening the regional customer footprint.

Elevate product adoption and expand market share within each designated territory to maximize reach and impact.

Conduct thorough evaluations of market trends and competitor actions to uncover potential avenues for expansion.

Work alongside the sales team to establish sales targets and formulate strategic action plans.

You will be responsible for directing, mentoring, and overseeing Area Sales Managers and their respective field sales teams.

Establish transparent performance benchmarks and facilitate monthly assessments to evaluate progress and provide constructive feedback.

Recruit, onboard, and lead a team of sales representatives across the designated territory.

Build and nurture robust partnerships with distributors and critical trade collaborators, overseeing their engagement and fostering mutually beneficial collaborations.

Deliver superior product availability, enhance visibility, and maintain effective merchandising throughout the entire region.

Track distributor inventory levels, outgoing sales, accounts receivable, and regional market coverage diligently.

Evaluate potential avenues for business growth, including untapped markets and prospects for strategic expansion.

Develop and sustain robust partnerships with essential regional clients.

Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and efficiently to ensure satisfaction and maintain positive relationships.

Track competitor actions, pricing strategies, promotional efforts, and evolving market trends to maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape.

Compile and deliver comprehensive sales reports and projections to senior leadership for strategic decision-making purposes.

Analyze processes and systems to pinpoint inefficiencies, then propose strategic adjustments to enhance performance and resolve underlying issues.

Collaborate effectively with the Digital Marketing team to craft and implement promotional campaigns and strategic marketing initiatives.

Develop and deliver precise sales reports, projections, and performance evaluations in a timely manner.

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of five years of experience in a leadership role, preferably within a relevant industry, along with a proven track record of driving operational efficiency and team development. The ideal applicant will hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a closely related field, complemented by advanced certifications or an MBA, if available. Strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and proficiency in data-driven decision-making are essential. Familiarity with industry-specific software, project management tools, and compliance regulations is required. The role demands adaptability, strategic thinking, and the capacity to mentor cross-functional teams while maintaining high performance standards.

A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or an equivalent discipline is required.

With a minimum of four to six years of proven sales experience within the fast-moving consumer goods sector, particularly in categories such as hygiene products (including diapers and sanitary pads), personal care, or other consumer goods, you will bring valuable expertise to this role.

Minimum of three years of experience in a sales leadership or management position is required.

Demonstrates a comprehensive grasp of route-to-market strategies and effective distributor management practices.

Demonstrates flexibility to undertake frequent travel across the designated geographic territory.

Demonstrates comprehensive expertise in the South-East market landscape, encompassing critical distributors, open market dynamics, and modern trade channels.

Demonstrated expertise in using Microsoft Excel is required.
